Have you ever heard the roaring waters of Yosemite Falls during the peak runoff season?

Well, now is the time to make that long-awaited journey to the legendary Yosemite National Park.  Located right in the middle of California, Yosemite is easily accessible by land and by air.  Once you make up your mind that it’s about time you visit this well-known national park, it’s time to start planning your trip.  But before you make your airline reservations, the first thing you’ll need to do is a little research on the hotels in Yosemite National Park.

Many splendid hotels and accommodation options are available throughout many different areas of Yosemite Park, including the Main Valley Floor,  the Wowona Valley, the Hetch Hetcy area, Tuolumne Meadows and others.  The first thing you’ll need to do is figure out which entrance you’ll be using.  There are three main entrances that can be used to access the park year-round: Highway 120 West, Highway 140 West, and Highway 41 South.

A large majority of Yosemite’s 3.5 million yearly visitors tend to focus their vacation on the most popular area of the park, which is the area roughly seven miles long and one mile in diameter which makes up the Yosemite Valley.Due to their location and easy access to the main valley floor, Highway's 41 and 140 are the most popular and most traveled enterances into the park.

The lodging options inside Yosemite Park come in many different shapes, sizes, and price ranges and offer an equally divers range of features and accommodations.  The hotels in Yosemite National Park include:  Yosemite Lodge at the Falls, Curry Village, The Ahwahnee Hotel, Housekeeping Camp, and the Wawona Hotel.  These are all wonderful lodging properties which provide a great opportunity to stay inside the park and experience all it has to offer.  Be prepared to plan ahead, because the majority of these hotels in Yosemite National Park are reserved one year in advance. But hotels lodges and campgrounds are not your only options for staying inside the park, there are also several vacation home properties available inside Yosemite. Properties like Redwoods Vacation Homes and Yosemite Four Seasons Vacation Rentals are very popular amongst Yosemite' vacationers.
